Installing
macOS
- Open the downloaded .zip.
- Drag PicPrep to Applications.
- Open it from Applications.
Our macOS builds do not carry Apple's signature yet, so the first time macOS says it cannot check PicPrep. Click Done. Then open System Settings, Privacy & Security, scroll down to Security and click Open Anyway beside PicPrep, then Open Anyway again. On macOS 14 or older: Control-click PicPrep, choose Open, then Open. It asks once.
Until the build is signed it also cannot update itself. PicPrep tells you when a new version is out; download it here.
Windows
- Run the downloaded installer.
- PicPrep opens when it finishes, and is in the Start menu from then on.
Our Windows installer is not signed yet, so Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". Click More info, then Run anyway.
Linux
- The .deb:
sudo apt install ./picprep_*.deb, then open PicPrep from your applications. - The .zip: unpack it anywhere and run
picprepinside.

Download here on each of your two computers and sign in with the same account. To change or cancel your subscription, open PicPrep, then Settings, Licence, Manage subscription. Or use the customer portal.
